Central/Southern U.S. Tornadoes

A line of scattered thunderstorms produced tornadoes that damaged homes in three states.

A new round of severe thunderstorms producing heavy rain, large hail, gusty winds (exceeding 50 mph) and several possible tornadoes moved through the Plains and Deep South on Wednesday.

Tornadoes detected by the National Weather Service reportedly damaged homes in Louisiana and Arkansas. Additionally, an unconfirmed twister apparently touched down in an Iowa mobile home park, resulting in damage to multiple units.
